Hit 500 trees pruned this year and my hands are screaming at me

I kept a tally out of curiosity and cracked 500 individual trees pruned since January, and now I'm starting to wonder if my wrists will ever forgive me, has anyone else kept a yearly count and regretted it?

Oh man, I feel your pain. I tried tracking how many rose bushes I trimmed one season and gave up around 200 because my thumbs locked up and I couldn't even grip my coffee mug right anymore. Definitely makes you reconsider keeping such a detailed count when your body starts filing a formal complaint.

the "body filing a formal complaint" part had me laughing but cmon, is it really that bad? i've done way more repetitive stuff with my hands for way longer and never had issues gripping a coffee mug. maybe you got some weak grip strength or something lol. like i used to knot fishing nets for hours and my hands just got a little stiff, nothing crazy.

The coffee mug thing hits different when you're usually right handed but your left hand starts cramping up too.
