Rope wrench vs. the $35 prusik I used for a decade

Honestly, tried a rope wrench for the first time last month on a big oak in Portland and it felt like cheating. My old prusik was fine but took forever to tend, and I kept fighting it on every limb. Anyone else switch and never look back, or am I just late to this party?

That old prusik was a beast, but I feel you, the wrench just makes everything flow way smoother.

@loganburns totally get it. The prusik got the job done but man, the wrench saves your hands so much. No more fighting with that knot every single time you need to adjust. It just clicks into place and you're done. Makes a long day in the tree feel way less tiring. Glad someone else feels the same way about the upgrade.
