That oak removal job that went sideways yesterday

Big limb caught my rope wrong during a takedown in a tight backyard. Snapped my 5/8 bull rope clean in half. Had to scramble and reset with a spare before the homeowner saw me panic. Anyone else had a rope fail on them mid job?

Happened to me last summer with a 7/8 line on a big red oak. The snap sounded like a gunshot and scared the crap out of me.

@ericschmidt Close but 7/8 isn't a real size, you mean 3/4.
