Appreciation post: aerial photos of Stonehenge from 1932 vs. drone shots today
I was comparing the old Royal Air Force pics with a drone video from last month and you can see the exact path where foot traffic wore down the chalk, so did those 1930s tourists actually change the ground shape more than the restoration crews did in the 1950s, or is it just the angle?
