I thought the footprints at White Sands were fake, then I watched the sediment dating video
Back in 2021 when those 23,000 year old footprints in New Mexico made the news, I figured it was another case of hype outrunning the science since the old estimate was way earlier than most experts would accept. Then last week I watched a National Park Service talk where they walked through how the seeds lodged inside the footprints got dated, and it clicked why the team was so sure. Has anyone else had a discovery they wrote off at first finally win them over with the actual evidence?
