My uncle told me to look for pottery near the creek, found a whole arrowhead instead.

Oh man, that's actually way cooler. Arrowheads are a much rarer find in my experience.

Really? I've always found more arrowheads than old coins. Maybe it depends on where you're looking. Coins just seem to turn up everywhere for me.

Wait, do you mean you've personally dug up more arrowheads than old coins in your area? I've been metal detecting for years and coins are way more common than any flint work around here. The arrowheads I've found were all surface picks, nothing I dug for. Just depends on where you hunt I guess.
