Reading about a dig in Turkey and the number of animal bones threw me
I was looking at the report from the Catalhoyuk site and it said they found over 90,000 animal bone fragments in just one area. I always pictured early settlements as mostly farming, but that's a massive amount of hunting evidence. Does this change how we see their diet, or is that normal for the period?

Makes my one bag of chicken wings look pretty sad, honestly.

Honestly, what kind of wings are you even getting? Like, are they those tiny frozen ones or the big fresh ones from the butcher? That can make a huge difference in how much you end up with. I got a bag once that was basically all breading and no meat.

Ever tried just tossing them in the oven with some baking powder? I mean, it makes them super crispy.
