Asked a barista in Portland for the weirdest order she'd ever gotten, she did not disappoint
She said a guy came in 3 months ago and asked for a decaf espresso with a slice of lemon on top, then just stared at it for 5 minutes and left without drinking. Has anyone else gotten a customer request that made you question if they were pranking you or actually serious?

The "stared at it for 5 minutes and left without drinking" part is what gets me. That guy paid real money to look at a lemon floating in decaf and then just walked out. Honestly that's the most Portland thing I've ever heard. If I tried that I'd probably stand there for 30 seconds, panic, and drink it just to avoid being rude. Some people have a level of inner peace I will never know.
