Can we talk about how my 'Ask Anything' post about fixing a leaky faucet in my apartment got 3 replies in 2019, but the same question posted last week got zero?

I think the algorithm changed or something because now it feels like unless you're asking about some viral drama, your post just gets buried and no one sees it to even answer.

Remember noticing the same thing with a post about fixing a squeaky door. It just sat there with no replies for days, which never used to happen. Feels like the old helpful vibe is getting lost in the noise now.

Ugh, that's so true. I fixed mine last month with a tiny bit of cooking oil on the hinge pin. Wiped off the old grease first with a paper towel. Worked instantly and didn't make a mess.
