Had a random guy at the gas station tell me to stop rushing my lawn mowing

He said I was going too fast and missing the grass veins, so I slowed down the next week and the lawn actually looked way better, has anyone else gotten unsolicited yard advice from a stranger?

Three weeks ago some guy told me to sharpen my mower blades. He was right.

I told my neighbor the same thing last summer... he was still running those dull blades until the grass looked like it got chewed up by a tiny lawn monster. Took me about 20 minutes with a file to show him what a difference it makes. Now his yard looks like a golf course compared to before. Funny how the simplest stuff gets overlooked until somebody points it out.
