I was about to sign off on a $2,400 encapsulation job in a house over in Garland last month when I poked around the joists with a $60 pin meter instead of trusting the guy's word, and it caught a slow supply line drip two feet from where he said the problem was, so has anyone else had a cheap tool talk them out of an expensive repair?
