So, when they say 'fine' but then send edits, what's the real standard here? Is 'fine' just code for 'not terrible but needs work'? That mixed message makes it hard to know what they actually want. If the work needs a page of edits, it wasn't fine to begin with. Are the edits small fixes or big changes? That tells you if your manager is being nitpicky or if there's a real gap in what they expect.
