Question about how I stopped my garage door from squeaking. Found the fix was way simpler than I thought.

Way simpler is right. A little WD-40 did it for me.

Lithium grease? You guys are overthinking a squeaky door.

Ever try something other than WD-40 for that? @harperwright is right that it helps a lot, but on my old door I found it didn't last very long. I ended up using a white lithium grease spray on the hinges and rollers instead. That stuff is thicker and really stuck around to keep things quiet. The squeak was totally gone for months after that. It's worth the extra couple bucks if you want a fix that lasts.
