Rant: My pressure washer coupler cracked mid-job on Saturday

Was blasting moss off my patio around noon and the brass coupler snapped clean in half, spraying water everywhere. Had to drive 20 minutes to Lowe's for a stainless replacement. Anyone else had cheap fittings just give out on them?

Oh man, my buddy had the exact same thing happen while washing his fence last spring. Water went everywhere including directly into his open garage door onto a box of old family photos.

25 psi and that brass fitting just yeeted itself into the bushes like it was trying to escape. Mine snapped at the exact same spot and I spent a solid 10 minutes dodging the high pressure spray while my dog ran around thinking it was a new sprinkler game. Lowe's run is basically a Saturday tradition at this point honestly.
