Thought the whole 'extended fasting' thing was pure hype until I tried a 72 hour fast

Honestly, I rolled my eyes hard at friends who wouldn't shut up about fasting. Figured it was just another internet fad that sounded cool but did nothing. Then I hit hour 48 and my brain felt clearer than it had in months, no joke. By the end of day three, my joint pain from an old knee injury was basically gone. I tracked my blood sugar and it dropped from 98 to 74 without any shakes. Now I'm wondering if I was just addicted to constant snacking. Anyone else get surprised by something they totally wrote off?

Man, that's wild how it actually worked for you though.

Man my cousin tried that same thing with her old car that wouldn't start. She just tapped the starter motor with a hammer and it fired right up. I couldn't believe it either but sometimes the simplest stuff works. That reminds me of the time my dad fixed our washing machine by just kicking it once. Sometimes luck and a little force is all you need I guess.
