TIL you can just call the city and ask why a streetlight is out, after 8 months of walking past it
There is a light on the corner of 9th and Maple here in Boise that has been dead since around November. I walk my dog past it every night and finally got tired of it last week, so I called the number on the city website thinking I would get bounced around. A woman picked up on the second ring, asked for the pole number, and said the crew had it on a list from a storm back in January. It was fixed by Thursday, which is faster than most things in my life. Has anyone else had luck with these random city hotlines, or did I just get lucky?
