Walked into a hyperbaric clinic for a sinus problem last month
I thought hyperbaric chambers were total woo. Just rich people trying to breathe fancy air. But my ENT doc in Phoenix said it could help this stubborn sinus infection after antibiotics failed. After 5 sessions my congestion was gone. Now I'm the guy telling friends about it. Anyone else have a surprise medical treatment that actually worked?

Read a study a while back that said hyperbaric oxygen actually ramps up your white blood cell activity. Something about the pressure forcing more oxygen into your tissues where the infection is hiding. Makes sense why antibiotics sometimes don't cut it alone if the area isn't getting enough blood flow. Glad to hear it worked for someone, most of what I see online about alternative treatments is just anecdotes with no backup.
