The small claims court in Akron that made me triple check every exhibit now

Drove all the way from Cuyahoga Falls thinking I had everything in order... got there and realized my exhibit B was just a scribbled receipt with half the info missing. Judge gave me that look like I was wasting everyone's time, had to reschedule and come back a week later with everything triple checked.

That bit about the judge giving you "that look" hits too close to home. I actually read somewhere that small claims judges in Ohio have to do like 40+ cases a day sometimes, (which is insane) so they really don't have time for sloppy paperwork. It sounds like you learned the hard way like I did - I spent an entire weekend after that just reorganizing my exhibits into a binder with tabs and everything. My buddy from work told me he even laminated one of his key documents after a similar experience, (though that might be overkill honestly).
