Vent: my landlord's lawyer took 4 months to fix a simple lease mistake
I had a typo in my lease that said my rent was $2,200 instead of $1,200 (you know, a huge difference). The landlord said it was fine but then their attorney took forever to draft a simple amendment. Four months and 3 follow-ups later they finally sent the correction. Has anyone else had a lawyer drag out something that should have taken a week?

Oh man, this is painfully familiar. I once had a lawyer take five months to fix a "and" to an "or" in a contract clause.
