A guy at the star party in Sedona told me to stop cranking my ISO past 1600, and my shots got way cleaner
I didn't believe him at first because I thought brighter was better, but after stacking 40 frames at 1600 instead of 6400 the noise dropped off a cliff. Anyone else get told a hard ISO ceiling for their camera, and did it actually hold up for you?
