Ha! Siril said "hold my beer" and DSS just couldn't keep up.

Swapped over to Siril halfway through a recent project and yeah, night and day difference. DSS kept crashing on my stacked subs from a Bortle 7 sky, just couldn't handle the noise. With Siril, I tweaked the green noise removal and ran a quick photometric color calibration, and it actually pulled out detail in the Orion nebula core that DSS always blew out. Only thing to watch is the background extraction sliders, takes a bit of trial to get them right without clipping the faint stuff.
