Spent 20 minutes adjusting my telescope mount until I realized the tripod was on uneven grass
I was at a park in Portland last night and couldn't figure out why every shot of Orion was blurry. Soon as I moved to the concrete path it all snapped into focus. Anybody else have a gear check moment that fixed everything?

Did you check the ground with a level before you set up at the park? I always carry a small bubble level now after learning the hard way that grass can be way more uneven than it looks. Not the fanciest tool but saves a ton of time. @beth_hart68 has the right idea with that sloped driveway story, makes me wonder how many of us just trust flat ground instinctively.
