Switching to decaf before sessions changed my game
My astro shots were blurry from caffeine shakes. I started drinking decaf a few hours before going out, and my latest photo of the Lagoon Nebula is crystal clear. What little changes have boosted your photo quality?
That bit about the caffeine shakes causing blurry shots hits home. It's wild how much our own physical state is part of the gear chain that we forget to tune. I see it with people holding their breath without thinking when they shoot handheld, or even just finally remembering to clean their glasses before looking through the viewfinder. We'll fiddle with every camera setting but ignore the shaky, tired thing operating it. Getting your own body to be a stable platform is half the battle.
