Chose the quiet grocery run over the busy one and it actually worked

I had to decide between going to the Kroger on Broadway at 5pm or the smaller one on Elm Street at 8am. I picked the early one on Elm even though it's 15 minutes farther. There were maybe 4 other people in the whole store and I didn't have to dodge anyone in the aisles. Has anyone else found a weird time or place that just makes errands easier for you?

Wait, is the 8am run that good though? I tried it once at a Publix near me and it was already packed with old people buying their weekly bingo snacks. But that 5pm Broadway Kroger sounds like actual hell on earth no lie. I'd rather drive the extra 15 mins to avoid fighting a Karen over the last bag of shredded cheese.

Midnight grocery runs at the 24-hour place on 3rd are like a cheat code. Nothing but peace and empty aisles after 11pm.
