That paper map was a lifeline (mine was always falling apart at the creases).

Did you ever see someone miss their stop because the map was wrong? My buddy had this super old bus map that was missing two new routes. He got on what he thought was the 42, ended up across town at the depot, and had to call his mom for a ride home from the bus company lot. He was so mad he threw the map in a trash can right there.
