Saw a study that said 80% of autistic adults have sleep issues, which explains a lot
I was reading a research paper from the University of Pennsylvania last night, and it mentioned that figure. It hit me because I've been struggling to sleep well for years and just thought it was my own weird thing. Does anyone have a good routine that actually works for them?

My buddy finally got a sleep study done after years of the same thing. They told him to cut screens an hour before bed and use heavy blankets, which sounds simple but it actually worked. He says the routine itself is what made the difference.

That 80% number from UPenn is just wild to me.

Did they tell him what the actual cause was or just hand him a checklist of stuff to try? Seems like the heavy blanket tip is specific enough that somebody must have an idea what's going on. Because if it's just generic advice like "stop looking at your phone" then that 80% number starts to look like they're counting anyone with a mildly bad night's sleep.
