Stumbled on a stat that autistic burnout peaks at age 30-35, that hit close to home
I was reading through a study on the Spectrum News site last week and found out that autistic burnout is most common in our early 30s, like right when life gets heavy with work and responsibilities. It explained so much about why I crashed hard at 32 after pushing through sensory overload for years. Has anyone else hit this age range and felt like everything fell apart all at once?

Honestly I'm gonna push back on this a bit. Tbh I think the whole burnout thing gets thrown around too much as an excuse when really life just gets harder for everyone in their 30s. Ngl I hit 32 and just started setting better boundaries instead of blaming autism for everything.

Hit 31 and it was like my brain just handed in its resignation letter with no notice. Just sat there like "sorry, cant do this anymore, figure it out yourself.
