Hit 200,000 miles on my old F-150 last Tuesday and it still runs like new
I was driving to work on I-95 and glanced down to see 200,000 miles pop up on the odometer. That truck is a 2005 model and I've only done basic oil changes and one transmission fluid swap at 150k. Anyone else got a high-mileage vehicle that just won't quit?

And here I was feeling proud of my Honda hitting 150k last month... guess I should just trade it in for a F-150 if they last that long with basically zero effort. But seriously, that's nothing... I knew a guy who had a 90s Toyota Tundra that rolled over 400k before he finally sold it for scrap metal. Still ran fine, just needed new floor mats and a radio that worked. You've got at least another 100k in that truck easy, probably more if you keep whispering sweet nothings to it every time you turn the key.

Man I used to think you had to baby a truck to keep it going that long, but stories like this totally changed my mind. Basic oil changes and one trans swap at 150k is basically nothing for 200k miles, that's wild. Makes me want to hold onto my current ride longer instead of always looking for the next thing.
