Why does nobody talk about how loud cars are at Cars and Coffee in Phoenix?

I went to the Pavillions on Friday night and thought my eardrums were gonna blow. Some dude in a 2019 Mustang GT straight piped revved it for 3 straight minutes while we were trying to talk. Has anyone else dealt with that noise level ruining the vibe at these meetups?

Wait, hold on. The Pavillions is THAT far north? I always thought it was basically in Phoenix proper, like off the I-17 or something (not that I'm an expert on Scottsdale geography).

Wait, seriously? That's not right at all. @gavin_clark, you sure you're thinking of the same spot? Last time I checked, the Pavillions was definitely on the 101 in Scottsdale.
