Blew $180 on a smoke machine, and it paid for itself in one afternoon

Bought a cheap smoke pro to chase a evap leak on a 2011 Civic that had stumped me for two weeks, and it found the cracked filler neck hose in about 4 minutes. Before that I was doing the old soapy water and eyeball routine and guessing at parts. Anyone else here running a smoker regularly, or do you just keep throwing parts at evap codes?
