Had a week where every third car that rolled in had a dead battery from a 2010-2014 Ford Focus

Five cars on Tuesday alone, all with that same parasitic drain issue from the glove box switch, and the last guy swore up and down it was a demon until I popped the fuse box and showed him the TSB on my phone, anyone else ever get a run of the exact same problem like that?

Had a buddy who owns a small shop outside town tell me he replaced five alternators in a row on 2015 Chevy Cruzes, all under warranty, all because the bearing seized up from a bad belt tensioner. He said the parts guy started joking that he must be hoarding them in his garage. Ended up keeping a spare tensioner in his toolbox just for that model.

Isn't it funny how once you see one of these patterns, you start noticing them everywhere? @king.kevin hit on something real with that Cruze issue, I swear some engineers design these cars with a built-in failure point just to keep us busy. Last month I had three Dodge Journeys back to back with the same blend door actuator clicking like a dying cricket behind the dash. It's like the universe lines up all the broken cars and sends them your way in a wave. Makes you wonder if parts stores ever run out of stock because of these weird little epidemics.
