Honestly, I thought I could skip the torque wrench on a simple wheel bearing job

I was in my garage last Thursday, putting a new bearing on a 2015 Civic, and just went by feel with a regular socket. Ngl, the whole hub assembly sheared off after about 50 miles because I overtightened it. What's the one job where you guys absolutely never skip using a torque spec?
