Moving my car from Austin to Phoenix, the dispatcher at the truck stop in El Paso said something that split the room
I shipped my car with a broker 6 weeks ago and the driver told me at a Flying J in El Paso that he would not touch a car that had more than a quarter tank of gas. Said the extra weight messes with how they load and balance the top rack. Half the guys standing around agreed with him, the other half said he was full of it and that a full tank is fine.
So now I am torn. Do you drain down to a quarter tank before a long haul or fill up so the car is ready when it lands? I have heard both in different states. What have you actually done with your own car?

Used to fill mine up but that quarter tank thing actually makes sense now.
