Finally fixed a wonky Garmin GNS 430 with a can of contact cleaner
Kept getting random NAV failures on a Cessna 172 until I pulled the tray connector and sprayed DeoxIT on every pin. Been three months with zero issues now. Anyone else had dirty pins fix weird avionics glitches?

90% of weird tech problems are just bad connections. Same with my classroom projector.

The projector cable always gets yanked by someone's backpack somehow.
