Spent 4 hours chasing a ghost in a King Air 350's weather radar

Turns out the radome had a tiny crack letting moisture in, not the waveguide or the antenna itself. Anyone else had a trouble call that ended up being something this simple after all that digging?

Honestly happens with everything. The fix is always the dumbest thing you overlooked.

Right, "the fix is always the dumbest thing you overlooked." That's basically the rule of life. I swear, my car acted up for weeks, rough idle and all. I replaced spark plugs, wires, everything. Turned out it was just a loose gas cap letting air in. Same thing with my home wifi - spent two days resetting routers, called the provider. Ended up the cable from the wall was barely plugged in. It's like your brain assumes the problem must be something complicated and skips over the obvious stuff. Why do you think we always jump to the hardest fix first instead of checking the basics?
