Spent 6 hours chasing a squawk on a CRJ that turned out to be a 3 inch piece of safety wire
Pulled half the avionics bay apart in Billings looking for a bad ground, and the whole time it was just a stray chunk of wire rattling around behind the panel making the intermittent fault. What is the dumbest thing you have ever found after hours of troubleshooting?
