Chose a niche agency over a full-service one, 8 months later I have regrets
Back in January I had two offer letters on the table. One was a big full-service B2B shop that did everything from paid ads to branding. The other was a tiny 4 person agency that ONLY did outbound email for manufacturing companies. I picked the niche one because I thought they'd know my industry better. And they did, for sure. But here's the thing, they have NO other skills. When I needed landing page tweaks or a simple retargeting setup, they just said 'we don't do that' and pointed me to freelancers. I ended up managing 3 different vendors and my own time got eaten up. The big agency would've handled it all under one roof, even if their email knowledge was less deep. Has anyone else picked hyper-specialized over full-service and ended up juggling too many contractors? What's the sweet spot?
