Found my first B2B customer through a random LinkedIn comment, not cold outreach
I spent 3 months sending cold emails to 200+ SaaS companies with zero replies, then one day I left a thoughtful comment on a founder's post about onboarding headaches. That comment led to a 15 minute DM chat and now I'm signing a $2,500/month contract with them. Has anyone else landed deals through social engagement instead of traditional outbound?

That comment you left must have really hit a nerve with the founder. What specifically did you say about onboarding headaches that made them reach out instead of just scrolling past?

Well, isn't that the million dollar question, isn't it pretty clear they know exactly where the shoe pinches? I just pointed out how most tools throw a million steps at you before you even get to see if the thing actually works for your team, and that all that fuss upfront makes people quit before they even start. Why dance around the problem when you can name it and shame it, right? So I asked them flat out why they force users to jump through hoops instead of letting them try the core feature first. The founder probably hated hearing that because deep down they know it's true.
