Remember when we all thought cold email was dead? I tried a new twist on it last month.

I sent out 100 personalized video intros instead of text, just a quick 30-second Loom clip. The open rate was normal, but the reply rate jumped to 22%, and three of those turned into actual discovery calls. I learned that the medium might change, but the core idea of a real, human touch still works. Has anyone else tried mixing video into their outreach lately?

My buddy at work does video intros and he says the lighting setup takes longer than the actual script. William_taylor, maybe we're overthinking the hair part.
