The onboarding process that ate 3 weeks of my life

I just spent 22 days trying to get a new client set up on our project management system. I figured it would be a 2 day thing, tops. First they argued about which platform to use for 4 days. Then their IT guy needed 6 approvals just to let us connect a Zapier integration. By the time we actually got them in the system, I had already missed sending out 2 invoices because I was stuck on this. Has anyone else had a client onboarding turn into this kind of nightmare? What's the longest a simple setup has taken you?

Man, that's brutal. Three weeks is insane for something that should take a weekend. I see this everywhere now, people make the simple stuff complicated. Ordering coffee takes a loyalty app and three screens now. Buying a lawnmower blade means filling out a web form before they'll even talk to you. It's like everyone forgot how to just say yes and move on.

8,000 different apps and logins just to buy a damn hammer now.
