Unpopular opinion: That investor meeting last Tuesday still bothers me

I was in a pitch meeting in Austin with a guy who spent the first 10 minutes scrolling his phone before saying 'so what's your SaaS actually do'. He then told me my 5 years of building a b2b compliance tool was 'cute'. Has anyone else had an investor totally blow off your work like that?

...so there I am at this demo day in San Diego, and this one investor walks in late, sits down, and starts eating a bag of chips real loud while I'm presenting. Like, full crunches, no shame. He didn't even ask a question after, just walked out. I spent six months building that prototype. Some people just have no clue how much work goes into this stuff, you know? It's like they think software pops out of thin air.

Yeah, right? A buddy of mine had an investor literally scroll TikTok during his whole pitch, didn't even look up.
