I spent a whole week dialing through a list of 200 SMB owners in Austin and only 4 people even stayed on the line. One guy actually said 'I respect the hustle but your script sounds like a robot wrote it.' That hit home because I was using a generic script I found online. Now I just start with something specific about their website or a recent post they made. Has anyone else tried ditching the script entirely and seen better results?
