Visited a coworking space in Austin that was dead silent by 10am

Walked into a popular coworking spot on South Congress last Thursday expecting some buzz, but everyone was glued to their laptops with zero networking happening. Is this normal for B2B founders or did I just pick the wrong day? Anyone else find coworking spaces actually hurt more than help for making connections?
