Ditched mine in Utah last year after it clogged on day three. Carrying that stupid plastic brick in 90 degree heat just to drink gritty water felt pointless. Filter drys out fast in desert air too, so the thing is useless after a week anyway. Just boil or buy bottled water, way less hassle.
