My brother in law is a physics teacher and he ruined asteroid movies for me last weekend
He pointed out that in Armageddon the asteroid has Earth like gravity and you can hear explosions in space, and he said it's fine because the movie isn't about physics. Do you let stuff like that slide or does it bug you the whole time?
