Why does nobody talk about the hospital scene in that 2003 space movie where they forget gravity exists
I was at my buddy's place in Sacramento last week for a bad movie night, and we threw on that 2003 Mars mission flick everyone forgot about. There is a scene where a guy gets hurt and they rush him to a hospital on Earth, and the whole time he is just floating slightly off the gurney like nobody noticed the gravity switched back on. My friend paused it around the 47 minute mark and we sat there rewinding it three times, laughing harder each pass. I grabbed a napkin and actually sketched out how a real hospital would handle a returning astronaut with bone loss, and we ended up talking about it for a solid 20 minutes instead of finishing the movie. The weird part is the floating thing did not bug me at all, it was the IV bag hanging perfectly straight while he drifted that got me. I think the small goofs are more fun to catch than the big ones people always complain about online. Did anyone else notice goofs like this in space movies that nobody ever brings up, or is it just me and my friend who rewind stuff like this?
