Had to choose between butter and shortening for my pie crust last night

I went with butter because I wanted that flaky flavor, but the crust came out a little too crumbly to slice cleanly. Has anyone found a good mix that keeps both texture and taste?

Oh man, my friend Sarah tried that exact same thing last Thanksgiving. She went full butter because she wanted that rich taste, but her crust basically fell apart when she tried to plate it. She said it tasted amazing but looked like a total mess on the plate. Next time she did half butter half shortening and it held together way better. Still got some of that butter flavor but the shortening gave it enough structure to actually slice.

Disagree with @lopez.brooke, butter only crusts taste better even if they fall apart.
