That $4 cake stand I bought at the thrift store failed hard yesterday
I found this nice glass cake stand at Goodwill for 4 bucks, brought it home all excited. Went to move a layer cake onto it yesterday and the whole thing just cracked right down the middle, cake and all fell on the floor. Turns out it must have had a hairline fracture I didn't see, or maybe it was just too old and weak. Anybody else had a thrifted baking tool let them down at the worst moment?

Honestly, that's so frustrating. I've been there, it sucks.
