Honestly I get that weird feeling so much. When I finally saved up enough to cover three months of rent it didn't feel real. I kept checking my bank account like it was a mistake or something. Ngl part of me wanted to spend it on something nice because having that much cash sitting there felt kind of wrong. But then I remembered how stressed I used to be when my car broke down and I had to borrow money from my cousin. It took me a solid two weeks to stop feeling like I was doing something illegal by having that money just sit there. Tbh having that cushion changes your whole mindset about money even if it feels strange at first.

My buddy saved for six months and still panicked when his AC died, thinking he couldn't afford the repair.
