I was at a food truck festival in Austin and saw a vendor using a mobile card reader that printed receipts instantly.
It made me wonder if those small printers are worth the cost for a business that does mostly cashless sales under $20.

That instant paper trail is huge for tax time. My accountant friend in Dallas says it cuts his work in half for clients who use them.

Does cutting the work in half mean I still get to do the other half manually while my accountant sits there laughing? Guess I'll stick to my shoebox of receipts and hope the IRS enjoys my interpretive tax dance. But hey, at least the paper trail is shiny and new, right?
